**🏛️ Start at the Old City** Begin your visit at the Qincheng Old City, a walled area with cobblestone streets and Ming-era architecture. The main gate opens daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and entry is free. Don't miss the Drum Tower at the center, which offers panoramic views for a small fee of 10 yuan. **🍜 Taste Local Street Food** Head to Night Market Street (Wenhua Road) after 6:00 PM for Qincheng's famous spicy lamb skewers and hand-pulled noodles. Most stalls accept cash only, so bring small bills. Try the grilled tofu at stall 27, a local favorite for over 20 years. **🌳 Explore the Riverside Park** The Qincheng Riverside Park stretches 3 kilometers along the Luo River and is perfect for a morning stroll or bike ride. Free entry, with bike rentals available at the south entrance for 20 yuan per hour. Visit in spring to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom. **🏯 Visit the Ancient Temple** The Temple of the Azure Clouds, built in 1127, sits on a hill just outside the city. Admission is 30 yuan, and it opens from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Take bus 101 from the central station to the temple gate; the ride takes 20 minutes. **🎭 Catch a Shadow Puppet Show** At the Qincheng Folk Arts Theater (88 Zhongshan Road), nightly performances start at 8:00 PM and cost 50 yuan. The 45-minute show tells local legends through intricate puppetry. Book tickets in advance during peak season as seats fill quickly. **🚌 Getting Around Town** Qincheng's public bus system covers all major attractions with routes 1 through 12. A single ride costs 2 yuan, and you can pay with a transit card or coins. For convenience, download the Qincheng Bus app for real-time schedules. Taxis start at 8 yuan and are easy to hail near the train station. **💰 Money-Saving Tips** Many attractions offer a combined ticket for 120 yuan, covering the Old City, Temple, and a river cruise. This saves about 30% compared to buying separately. Student discounts are available with a valid ID, so bring yours along. **🌙 Best Evening Spots** For a relaxed evening, head to the rooftop bar at the Qincheng Riverside Hotel, which offers views of the illuminated Old City walls. Drinks start at 35 yuan. Alternatively, join a free walking tour that departs from the South Gate at 7:00 PM, covering local ghost stories and legends.
