Staying at Estanplaza Paulista in 2026, tips?

Question

hey all, I'm visiting Sao Paulo in 2026 and booked a few nights at Estanplaza Paulista. anything I should know about the area or getting around from there? also is the breakfast worth it or should I eat out nearby

annalenestorch · Answer

consulado metro is handy but linha 4 gets packed at rush hour, so time ur trips around 9-10am if u can. for cheap eats, walk toward rua pamplona, way better value than the hotel area. skip the hotel breakfast & hit a padaria there

annalenestorch · Answer

the metro station is right by the hotel so use it for anything far, way easier than sitting in traffic. consulado station on linha 4 gets u to liberdade and downtown fast. i'd maybe do one breakfast out just to try a pastel de nata

annalenestorch · Answer

stay near Paulista for sure, but avenida paulista itself gets dead on sundays so plan around that & grab breakfast at a padaria instead tbh
