Pharmacies That are open 24/7?
yeah the 24hr pharmacy scene is decent but depends on what u need. the one at victory monument near the big circle is a boots that stays open all night, its right by the bts exit 2. theyre not as expensive as fascino and accept card anytime which is rare. also if ur down in rattanakosin theres a place on maharat road near wat pho that keeps late hours, not strictly 24hrs but often open til like 4am, the old lady there knows her stuff and will haggle on prices if u buy multiple things
if you're near huai khwang theres a 24hr pharmacy on pracharat bamphen road just past the swissotel, its a small place but they stock proper stuff like antibiotics and strong painkillers that some chains wont sell without a script. prices are reasonable too, i paid 120 baht for a pack of ibuprofen there last month which is way cheaper than the tourist area ones. the staff are thai only mostly but pointing at what u need works fine
there's a 24hr pharmacy in chinatown on yaowarat road near the old market, its a fascino but way less crowded than the sukhumvit ones. open all night and the staff are used to dealing with tourists buying random stuff at weird hours. they take card too which is nice. just be careful walking around that area late, its pretty dead after midnight
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
