Agoda work culture, hiring process, assessment details or what kind of questions?

I got an interview call with an assessment link for a position. Anybody has taken the assessment?how tough is that? And what kind of questions I should expect? I don't have any experience in this numerical questions for sometime now. Also, please share Agoda work experience like work life balance, culture and learning curve if you know off.

I took the Agoda assessment about a year ago for a similar role. The numerical part was mostly basic stuff like percentages and reading tables, but the time pressure is real, you get maybe 90 seconds per question so if you pause too long on one you'll fall behind. I'd suggest doing a few practice tests on sites like AssessmentDay just to get comfortable with the format again.

For the work culture, the Sathorn office is pretty lively with a lot of young people and free coffee. The learning curve can be rough for the first two months while you figure out their internal dashboards and reporting tools, but people are generally helpful if you ask. Work-life balance varies by team, some have late meetings with Europe or US teams, but most people I know leave by 6 or 7 most days.

I've had a few friends go through the Agoda assessment and they all said the same thing, it's more about speed than difficulty. You'll get a mix of basic arithmetic, graphs, and some logical reasoning, and the trick is not to get stuck on any one question since the timer keeps going. For the work culture part, the office is near Sathorn on Sathorn Road and it's pretty standard for a tech company, open plan with lots of snacks and a gym. The learning curve is steep in the first few months because they use a lot of internal tools and data, but people generally say you pick it up fast if you're comfortable with numbers and analysis.

The numerical assessment is the main hurdle for most people. It's timed, so you'll need to work through basic math, data interpretation, and logic puzzles fairly quickly. If you haven't done that kind of stuff in a while, spend a few hours on Khan Academy or similar sites brushing up on percentages, ratios, and reading charts. The actual Agoda office near Sathorn has a very international vibe, expect a mix of Thais and expats, and the dress code is casual. Work-life balance is generally okay for Bangkok standards, but it really depends on your team, some are more intense than others.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
