25m or 50m public swimming pool ?

Where can I find a good and clean public swimming pool in Bangkok? I can travel within the city. Is there an indoor or outdoor pool as well? Where can I find a good and clean public swimming pool in Bangkok? I can travel within the city. Is there an indoor or outdoor pool as well?

honestly for clean public pools in Bangkok, the 50m ones are usually better maintained than the 25m ones. the 50m outdoor pool at the National Stadium (Saphan Kwai side) is solid, opens early around 5am and costs like 20 baht. it's chlorinated well but can get crowded on weekends with serious swimmers doing laps. for indoor, the pool at Chulalongkorn University's Sports Complex is decent, 25m but covered and air quality is fine. there's also a 50m at Assumption University's Suvarnabhumi campus but it's a trek out there. if u want something central with less chlorine smell, try the pool at the Thai-Japanese Association on Soi Phra Khanong, it's 25m indoor and cleaner than most public ones, around 50 baht. just avoid the ones at public parks like Benjakitti unless u like splashing with kids and random leaves floating around

The 50m pool at the Thai-Japanese Institute of Technology (now called Thai-Nichi) on Soi Udomsuk is one I don't see mentioned much. It's outdoor, costs 40 baht, and the water quality is noticeably better than the National Stadium one since they filter it more often. Gets less crowded too, mostly students and locals from the neighborhood.

For indoor, the 25m pool at the Bangkok Sports Club on Wireless Road is technically members only but they do day passes for 200 baht. The water is heated and the changing rooms are actually clean, which is rare for public pools here. Just call ahead to check if they're not hosting a swim meet or something.

ngl just go to the 50m outdoor one at King Rama IX park. it's huge rarely crowded and they actually shock it regularly so the water doesnt feel slimy. the chlorine is strong but u get used to it in 5 minutes. open till 6pm and costs like

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
