Two year ago I went to Mega Plaza and there was not a single store that had them. Now coming back in next january and would like to buy one in Bangkok.

...and in case anyone doesn't know what it's about, I'm talking about handheld consoles with thousands of retro games installed.

yeah Mega Plaza is still mostly about new and used console games, not these emulation handhelds. There's a guy at Chatuchak Weekend Market though, section 3 soi 34/1 area, he's got a decent selection of Anbernic and TrimUI stuff. Prices are a bit higher than ordering from AliExpress but you can actually test the buttons and screen before buying

Honestly your best bet now is Fortune Town IT mall, they've got a couple stalls on the 3rd floor that stock Anbernic and Miyoo stuff. Not sure about Powkiddy specifically but I've def seen them there

You could try the MBK Center, there's a small electronics section on the 4th floor near the phone repair shops. I've spotted a few stalls with those emulator consoles mixed in with the random gadgets, but it's hit or miss depending on the day.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
