chaofa in bangkok yotha market area has all the motorcycle gear, knee pads and elbow guards for like 200-500 baht depending on quality. shopee is fine too but sizing can be tricky if you don't know the brand, so better to try them on in person first. there's also a few shops on khao san road but they're more tourist prices

honestly just go to chatuchak market on a weekend, the motorbike section near section 8 has stalls with pads for like 300 baht and you can haggle. shopee is convenient but the sizing charts are never accurate for local brands, I've had to return stuff before. if you're staying near sukhumvit there's also a shop called speedline on soi 50 that carries decent gear

try pradiphat road near bang sue there's a row of moto shops with pads for cheap. shopee's fine if u know ur size but returns from a hotel are a pain

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
