Where can I buy Kiwi, Kom-Kom, Penguin kitchen knives in Bangkok?

I thought they are common. But I couldn't find them on my previous visit. Please tell me specific shop names and where they are and if they have a website for prices. Thank you so much. Kom-Kom is actually the Thai name for a specific brand of Chinese-style kitchen knives, not a type of knife itself. You'll find them at most hardware stores in the old town, but the best selection is at the knife shops on Charoen Krung Road near Saphan Phut, specifically the ones that sell to restaurant suppliers. I've bought mine at a shop called "Rungroj Hardware" on Charoen Krung Soi 30, it's a narrow shop but they stock the full Penguin and Kiwi ranges. They don't have a website for prices, you just have to go in.

if you're near yaowarach (the gold traders area off charoen krung), there's a few kitchen supply shops tucked in the alleys that carry kiwi and penguin. try "siriwattana" on soi mangkon, they have a decent wall of kiwi knives hanging up, like 50-150 baht each depending on size. no website for prices, but you can check their facebook page for some photos of stock

Check out the hardware stores along Mahachai Road near Talad Noi. There's a few old school shops there that stock all three brands, they're mostly wholesalers so the prices are really good. I don't think any of them have websites though, it's very much a go in and browse kind of place.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
