This may be an oxymoron but quiet place to stay in Bangkok ?

Anywhere that's a haven after having Market temple and sight seeing overload at the end of a trip and feeling unwell ? Somewhere easy to get food and close to convenience store 7/11, Asian food court… Anywhere that's a haven after having Market temple and sight seeing overload at the end of a trip and feeling unwell ? Somewhere easy to get food and close to convenience store 7/11, Asian food court , Starbucks ? May be all too hard but any insight is appreciated I'm sure we have all been ill in Asia Before and being in a tiny noisy room not close to food amd drink without crossing busy roads is not conducive to having a good holiday. Thank you

if you're feeling rough, look at the riverside hotels near saphan taksin bts. the main road is loud but the side sois off charoen krung are dead quiet at night, and you've got the robbinsons mall right there with a food court, starbucks, and topps market for supplies. cross the street once and you're at the bts, no major road battles needed. the peninsula is the obvious splurge but there are smaller places like the centre point that have pools and are tucked away

honestly check out the area around Ari BTS, it's a total different vibe from the tourist chaos. plenty of quiet sois with small guesthouses and condos, and there's a 7/11 on basically every corner plus local food stalls that won't wreck your stomach further. the Ari Hills building has a starbucks and a food court downstairs, and you can avoid crossing any major roads by staying on the small streets

Try looking into serviced apartments along the Thong Lor or Ekkamai side streets. They're usually way quieter than the main road hotels and still have 7/11s and food within a short walk.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
