Photography shops in the MBK Center on the 4th floor have a solid range of binoculars, from compact travel ones to heavy-duty birding models. I'd check out Big Camera or FotoFile there, they usually let you handle the display units. For more specialized gear, head to Fortune Town on Ratchadaphisek, the camera floor there has a few shops that stock Celestron and Nikon models you won't find at MBK. Keep in mind prices at both places are retail, so don't expect huge discounts unless you're buying something pricey and negotiate a bit.

Fortune Town is your best bet, it's a whole mall for cameras and optics. The shops on the 3rd and 4th floors have a way bigger selection than what you'd find at a random electronics store, and the staff actually know their stuff.

mbk is fine but you're paying tourist markup. try the camera shops in fortune town, same stuff cheaper. or just order online like everyone else, why waste time in bangkok traffic for binoculars

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
