How to pay an university using a 가상계좌 이체 from abroad?

I wish they just allowe card payments, if I make a bank transfer now, it'll take minimum 7 working days since it's international transfer but I don't understand the 가상계좌 이체 process and I'm scared to make a mistake and lose the money

Can someone help me out with it? I don't even know where to start with the 가상계좌 number and where to log in and if it'll work from abroad :((

Yeah, a 가상계좌 is basically a temporary account number the university generates for you, but it usually requires a Korean bank account to send money from. You might want to ask the university if they have a main corporate account for international wire transfers instead, since most schools have that option for foreign students.

You can use a service like Wise or Remitly to send money to a Korean bank account, then use that account to pay the 가상계좌 online. It might take a bit to set up the account though.

Pretty sure 가상계좌 only works with Korean bank accounts. Call your bank to ask about international wire transfer to the university's main account instead.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
