toronto here too, been here 2 years. if ur missing the lake, try the han river at night near yeouido, it's got that same open water calm but way more people fishing and drinking. also the korean grocery stores sell real all dressed chips now, found them at emart in yongsan, tasted exactly like home. hit me up if u wanna hit a blue jays game watch party, there's a sports bar in itaewon that stays open late for the east coast games

fellow torontonian here, been in seoul 3 years. honestly the thing i miss most isn't poutine, it's just grabbing a coffee and walking around without a plan. you can kinda do that in seongsu or mangwon, it's got that east end vibe, not as polished as gangnam. also, if u ever need a tims fix, there's a place in hongdae that does a decent double double, but it's a korean chain so don't get ur hopes up too high. dm me if u wanna grab a beer sometime, i know a quiet spot in haebangchon that's got a good patio

hey toronto. i'm not canadian but lived in vancouver for a few years before moving here. the itaewon area has a couple spots that do poutine if ur craving it - just don't expect the real deal. there's a place called the basement that's canadian-run near hbc station. they do wings and have hockey on sometimes if that's ur thing

Coming from Haebangchon, take line 6 to Itaewon then walk up, taxi is only like 6,000 won though. Skip the scones honestly, they're dry. Order the first flush darjeeling a la carte and a slice of their matcha roll.
