honestly Forno Centrale is solid but the queue on weekends gets silly after 6pm. margherita runs about 16,000 won, diavola closer to 19,000. if the line's out the door, walk 5 min toward Itaewon station and hit the little slice counter on the side street by the mosque turn, decent NY style by the slice for 5 or 6 thousand. go weekday lunch if u can, way calmer.

Weekday lunch is the real tip, and the alley spot past the mosque turn also does a solid garlic knot for 2,000 won.

Slice counter's cash only, FYI.

arrow_drop_up 18 arrow_drop_down

good to know, the ATM by the station helps

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

they added a card reader last month actually

arrow_drop_up 4 arrow_drop_down

nah they got a card reader recently

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

Pretty sure they've taken cards since last month, though I'd still keep a few thousand won on you in case the reader's down.

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

tbh the queue calms down a lot after 8 too, most people bail by then. and the pies are neapolitan style so they come out fast once you're seated, like 10 min. worth the wait if you're not starving.

Image dorabuss local ·

the queue moves faster than it looks since they seat the counter first, so dont bail at the door

arrow_drop_up 25 arrow_drop_down

yeah the counter seats turn over quick, just dont roll in right at 7 on a saturday when the whole party crowd lands at once.

Best garden spots near The Spot in Seoul 2026?

I'm visiting Seoul in spring 2026 and staying close to The Spot. Are there any nice gardens or green spaces within walking distance, and is early April a good time to see them in bloom? early april is peak cherry blossom at seokchon lake, that's ur best bet near there, maybe 15 min walk depending on which side of the spot ur on. go weekday morning bc weekends are packed. if u want quieter, the lake path behind lotte world mall has fewer crowds

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down
Image leonore local ·

yeah the lotte world path is way calmer, just watch for the tulip beds near the magic island entrance too

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Image hyeminp local ·

spot on about weekday mornings, but the west side near Seokchon-dong has the denser trees, less wind off the water too

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down
Image freya local ·

west side holds bloom longer too, cafe row on the Songpa-dong edge

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

also check the stone bridge on the north end, ginkgo there too

arrow_drop_up 0 arrow_drop_down

Image freya local ·

The east shore path by Seokchon Lake gets the morning sun first, so blooms open a few days ahead of the Lotte World side.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down
Image vanessa local ·

true, tho the wind off the water on that side cuts the bloom short faster, so don't wait too long past peak

arrow_drop_up 5 arrow_drop_down

Jamsil bike path, sunrise side.

Songpa Naru Park, rent a mat by 7am.

mat fills up by 7:30 on blossom weekends
