fwiw the sound room is where my niece spent the most time - they've got these giant drums painted like dinosaur eggs that make different roars when you hit them. not exactly educational but she thought it was hilarious. also the little hanbok dress-up area near the exit is surprisingly fun, she can wear a mini version while pretending to be a dinosaur hunter. for jjigae, skip Gamasot for once and try the dwaeji gukbap spot two blocks past Yongsan Station exit 4, it's like 9,000 won and the broth is way richer
imo the real hidden gem for a dino-obsessed kid is the little book nook tucked behind the main dino area. they have these giant floor puzzles of dinosaur skeletons and a bunch of kids' books about Korean paleontology, like the discovery of the Koreanosaurus. my friend's kid spent like 40 minutes there just doing puzzles. also, for jjigae, Gamasot at Yongsan Station is the move, their kimchi jjigae is way better than the museum basement stuff

this is a solid list, one thing i'd add is that the t-money card also works for the airport railroad express (arex) and you can get a discount if you buy a "climate card" from the subway machines for like 62,000 won a month, unlimited rides on seoul metro and buses. also, for free stuff, the seoul city wall hiking trail from naksan park gives you amazing views of the city and bukchon without paying a thing, plus it's way less crowded than namsan. gwangjang market is great but go for the sundubu (7000 won) at the stalls in the back, not the front ones near the entrance which are pricier for tourists
