The view during the day was amazing, but I was blown away by how magical it looked at night. All those twinkling lights... seriously stunning. My question is: are there any less crowded viewpoints around Namsan Park to get similar night shots without all the selfie sticks? I'd love to capture the same beauty but with a bit more peace and quiet.

another option is the namsan cable car itself but going down not up. if u take it down after 9pm the car is usually half empty and the view through the glass as u descend is pretty nice. u can get a few good shots through the window without anyone in the frame. also the little observatory deck right at the cable car bottom station has a decent angle of the tower lit up and most people just walk straight past it to the bus stop

You could try the northern side of the mountain near the Jangchung Gymnasium entrance. The path there is less traveled and there's a small lookout platform maybe 15 minutes up that gives you a clean angle over the Han River and Gangnam, not just the downtown cluster. It's not as high up as the tower, but the light trails from the bridges look great at night. Bring a jacket though, that side gets windy.

The path up from the Hoehyeon area has a few wooden benches tucked into the trees that face south toward Yongsan. It's about a 10 minute detour off the main stairway and you get the trains coming into Seoul Station below with the tower lit above. I've sat there for 30 minutes before and maybe saw two people pass by. If you go on a weekday after 8pm it's basically yours.

Cash mostly, some take Cigna. Consult ~50,000 won.

arrow_drop_up 3 arrow_drop_down

tbh the 50k figure is on the low side for a derm, more like 70 to 90k once they do anything beyond talking. Also worth knowing: clinics here bill you upfront and hand you an itemized receipt, so you claim it back from your insurer yourself rather than them billing direct.

some bill direct if u have the card on u

Also bring your passport, they won't scan a foreign card without it.

Worth adding that even card-taking places often want won in hand for the first visit, so pull 100,000 from an ATM beforehand.

Mostly agree, but add the 10% VAT on top.

For a stubborn skin thing skip the big hospitals and look at a 피부과 in Apgujeong or Sinsa, most have one English speaking doc. Weekend slots fill up so call ahead. Bring your meds list, they'll ask.
