Lost Luggage at IP Boutique Hotel?

So, I'm finally in Seoul after a crazy flight from @London. The IP Boutique Hotel is gorgeous, seriously. Modern, sleek...but my suitcase vanished into thin air somewhere between Heathrow and Incheon.… So, I'm finally in Seoul after a crazy flight from @London. The IP Boutique Hotel is gorgeous, seriously. Modern, sleek...but my suitcase vanished into thin air somewhere between Heathrow and Incheon. Checked in, got to my room, unpacked...my carry-on. Everything else? Gone. I'm mostly annoyed about my fancy new face cream, but seriously, the airline says they'll investigate. Anyone ever deal with this at the IP Boutique Hotel before? Any advice on getting this sorted quickly? I've got a whole week planned and I don't want to waste it running around filing paperwork!

Ugh, that totally sucks! Lost luggage is the WORST. I haven't dealt with it at that specific hotel, but Incheon Airport's lost luggage office is...well, it's an experience. Expect lines. Lots of them.

My best advice? Get on it immediately. Don't wait for the airline to "investigate." File a formal claim with them ASAP, get everything documented, including your baggage claim tag number, flight details, etc. The hotel might have some sort of lost and found, so check with the front desk too. You could also try contacting your credit card company if you purchased travel insurance, sometimes that covers lost luggage. Seriously, being proactive is your best bet to salvage your trip. Good luck! Hope your face cream reappears!

Thanks so much! That's incredibly helpful. I didn't even think about contacting my credit card company, I definitely have travel insurance through them, so that's a huge relief. The lines at Incheon...yeah, I've heard horror stories. I'll get on the phone with the airline first thing and then hit up the hotel's lost and found. Fingers crossed this face cream (and everything else!) turns up. Really appreciate the advice!

Coming from Haebangchon, take line 6 to Itaewon then walk up, taxi is only like 6,000 won though. Skip the scones honestly, they're dry. Order the first flush darjeeling a la carte and a slice of their matcha roll.
