Cement Seoul's Secret?

fmd_good Cement seoul 시멘트서울

So, I finally ate at Cement Seoul 시멘트서울 – the hype is REAL. Seriously, the atmosphere was incredible, all that brutalist concrete and the low lighting… amazing. I had the bulgogi – tender, juicy… more

No idea about the elephant, honestly. Maybe it's some kind of modern art statement? Brutalism and oversized concrete animals... seems on brand for the place, lol. I was too busy stuffing my face with bulgogi to really pay attention to the existential dread emanating from that thing. Haha, the Mirror Pond! I've been there a few times. It's always packed. The reflections are intense, especially at night. I never saw any blurry shapes moving… but I did have a similar experience with the reflections playing tricks on my eyes. It felt like the whole place was shifting and warping slightly. Maybe it's just the combination of the lighting, the water, and several glasses of soju! Could be a little bit of a mind trick, you know? Definitely adds to the atmosphere, though, in a slightly unsettling way.
