since u like active stuff and being outdoors, try the seoul forest area on weekend mornings. there's a big open field near the butterfly greenhouse where people do group yoga and calisthenics, and someone usually has a speaker playing music. i've seen folks just join in without asking. also the bukhansan dullegil trail is way easier than going up the peak, it's a flat path around the mountain that takes about 2 hours and there's a coffee cart at the entrance in jeongneung that always has hikers hanging out. for a more social gym vibe, the spartan gym in hongdae does free outdoor bootcamps at world cup park on saturdays at 9am, they're on instagram as spartan_seoul and it's a mix of koreans and foreigners
if you're into nature and active stuff, check out the seoul city hiking club on facebook, there's a group that does bukhansan every saturday morning at 7am from the gugi entrance, it's mostly koreans but plenty of english speakers show up too. for gym stuff, the spao in hongdae has a climbing wall and a solid community, way easier to chat people up there than at a regular gym tbh. also the seoul global center in jongno runs free korean classes and cultural outings, good way to meet other new arrivals who actually want to explore
honestly the best way to meet people as an active person is to just go to the same place consistently. pick a gym near your apartment in hongdae or itaewon and go at the same time every day, you'll start recognizing faces within a week. for hiking, bukhansan is the obvious choice but i actually prefer the trails around acha mountain in gunja, less crowded and more locals than expats. also check out the seoul foreign language meetup at the glitch coffee in anguk, they do a weekly thing on wednesdays that's pretty chill and not just people trying to network
