Coupang seems to only have second-hand or refurbished, and the Samsung Store only seem to sell newer models.

You could try the used electronics section at Seongsu-dong's Daelim Warehouse, but the real trick is searching Naver Cafe for "S22 새제품" or "S22 미개봉." Some small phone shops in the back alleys of Jongno 3-ga still have unopened units from 2022 sitting in their stockrooms, especially the burgundy color which didn't sell well here. The Samsung Store app's "outlet" section updates on Monday mornings around 9 AM, and I've seen the 128gb S22 pop up for 380,000 won a few times this year.

i'd hit up the samsung digital plaza in coex mall, the basement level near the food court. they usually have a small "last gen" corner with older models that didn't sell, and the staff there are more chill about digging through inventory than the gangnam flagship. also check the 11st app, they partner with some distributors that still list new S22s in the 480k-550k range, just filter by "official distributor" to avoid scams

fwiw the samsung store in hongdae had a few S22s in their outlet section last month when i was there looking for a charger. it's tucked away in the hongdae entrance station area near exit 3, not the big one by the main street. also if u have a friend with a corporate discount through their company, sometimes they can snag leftover stock through the samsung employee purchase program, that's how my buddy got his S22 last year for like 450k

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
