anyone done HBOT in seoul?

can you anyone rec an affordable HBOT clinic in seoul? found one that charges 150k krw per session which is higher than what i even pay for in the us. looking for 100k krw or under. thanks!! can you anyone rec an affordable HBOT clinic in seoul? found one that charges 150k krw per session which is higher than what i even pay for in the us. looking for 100k krw or under. thanks!!

honestly 150k is steep even by seoul standards. you might wanna check out the hyperbaric center near gangnam station, they do sessions around 80-90k if you buy a 10-session pack. it's kinda tucked away in that building behind the samseong hospital, the one with the coffee shop on the ground floor

for something cheaper there's a place in hongdae too that does 70k per session but the chambers are smaller and it feels more like a nail salon setup. fine if you're just doing it for recovery but not great for anything serious

if you're staying in seoul for a bit the gangnam one is prob your best bet. just make sure to call ahead since they sometimes have waitlists on weekends

The Gangnam one is solid but if you're near Itaewon there's a clinic in Hannam-dong that does 90k per session without needing to buy a package. It's in that medical building right next to Hamilton Hotel, second floor. The chambers are older but the staff actually speak English which is rare for these places. Just a heads up they close at 6pm on weekdays so you'd need to plan around that.

if you're near jamsil there's a sports medicine clinic in lotte world tower that does hbot for 95k per session. it's mostly used by athletes from the nearby baseball stadium so the chambers are good quality and they have a doctor on site. the catch is they're strict about not letting you use your phone inside and they only do morning appointments on saturdays

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 15 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
