Does a charge card for transport work in other cities??? Seoul transport ended up being way cheaper and have loads left on it
If it's a T-money card you've been using, you can actually get a refund on the remaining balance at any GS25 or CU convenience store. They'll charge a 500 won fee but you'll get the rest back in cash. Just keep in mind that if the balance is under 20,000 won, you can do it right at the counter, otherwise you'll need to go to a T-money service center. Not sure about other cards though, the one-time recharge passes from the subway machines are a different story.
nah it won't work outside seoul, each city has its own system. if you've got a t-money card you can use it in busan and a few other places though, just not the specific charge card from seoul metro. best bet is to just keep it for ur next trip or see if any friends can use it before it expires
honestly just check if it's a t-money card, those are the ones that work nationwide. the logo should be on the card itself. if it's just a paper qr code or a single-use plastic card from the machine, that's strictly seoul metro only and you can't use it in other cities. convenience store refund is the move if you're not coming back soon

The 4대보험 hit is real but the bigger issue is hours getting cut in the rainy stretch of 장마, so your monthly total swings a lot. I'd ask current staff about the actual shift schedule before signing, not the posted rate.
장마 shifts get cut first, ask about 우천 대체 근무
for real, and the rainy day shifts they swap you into are usually shorter, so ask how many actual hours a week you'd get
also worth knowing that shift cuts depend on which attraction you're assigned to. indoor rides keep running through the wet weeks so those crews stay close to full hours while outdoor ones get sent home early. ask which ride you'd be on before you sign anything.
Rain cuts hit hardest in July, so ask if 주휴수당 still applies on weeks you drop under 15 hours.
One thing worth asking is whether 주휴수당 gets prorated or clawed back at settlement, since some seasonal contracts quietly build that into the base rate.
Check the contract's 근로계약서 hours, that's the real tell.

Adventure Park runs on short seasonal contracts, so expect around minimum wage (10,320 won in 2025, maybe 10,500 in 2026) minus 4대보험, which drops your take-home more than people think. On that, a deposit-heavy Seoul rent is a stretch unless you share a place or live out near the park.
