You'll find plenty of cheap used shoes along the Jongno 3-ga area near the flea market, but if you want something quick without digging through piles, try the underground shopping center at Express Bus Terminal. The stalls there sell new winter shoes for around 20,000 to 30,000 won, which is barely more than secondhand prices elsewhere. For actual used gear, head to Dongmyo station's flea market on weekends, but bring cash and be ready to haggle.
tbh the easiest option might be just hitting up a gmarket or coupang kiosk in any convenience store, order some cheap padded boots for like 15,000 won and have them delivered to your hotel by tomorrow morning. most guesthouses will accept packages for you if you ask. way less hassle than hunting through bins at a flea market when you're short on time and freezing already
if you're near hongdae theres a big underground shopping arcade connected to the station, lot of shoe stalls that sell clearance stock from last season for like 10,000-20,000 won. not secondhand but basically the same price and you can try them on right there. just look for the ones with big signs saying 만원 or 할인
honestly for just a couple days i'd hit up a Daiso or Artbox near Myeongdong for some cheap thermal insoles and thick socks to put in any shoes u already have. that plus wearing two pairs of socks might get u through without buying actual winter shoes. if u really want boots though, there's a bunch of street vendors near Hongdae station exit 9 that sell knockoff Timberlands for like 15,000 won, they'll fall apart after a month but fine for a few days

yeah the guide covers it well but one thing i'd mention is that if you're traveling with a group of 3 or 4, a regular taxi from the airport to central seoul can actually be cheaper per person than the express train and way more convenient. split 60k won four ways and it's only 15k each, plus no hauling luggage through the station. just make sure they use the meter or you'll get ripped off
