Best Skincare Clinic?

I'm looking to tighten my saggy cheeks (what laser would you recommend? I think ulthera), get laser treatments for post-acne scars, and (fingers crossed) achieve that glass skin look.

Does anyone have recommendations for clinics that locals trust and that provide great results for these kinds of treatments? Bonus points if they have English-speaking staff or cater to international clients.

For now I have: Fine Clinic, Upic Clinic and Renovo Skin Clinic.

Thanks in advance for any tips or advice! 🫢🏼

for ulthera specifically you might wanna check out jfeel clinic in apgujeong, they do a ton of lifting work and their doctors are pretty hands-on with the device settings, not just rushing you through. for post-acne scars they push juvelook plus fraxel combos which i think works better than just one laser alone. english is fine there but book via their kakaotalk first, the walk-in queue is chaos.

glass skin honestly comes down to the aftercare routine they give you, not just the in-clinic stuff. ask for the growth factor ampoule they sell, it's cheap and does more than the fancy masks. also if ur cheeks are saggy, dont skip the hifu on the jawline even if they upsell it, it makes the ulthera results look way more natural.

one thing nobody mentioned: nov end is peak season for korean skincare tourists, so clinics double their prices on weekends. try to book weekdays only, and if you can, hit the jamsil branch of any clinic instead of gangnam, same doctors sometimes but half the wait.

I've been to Fine Clinic myself and it's solid, but for the specific combo you're after I'd add Muse Skin Clinic in Gangnam. They're known for their Ulthera and do a lot of work on post-acne scarring with fractional lasers, plus their English-speaking consultants are actually good, not just translators. The trick is to book a consultation first thing in the morning, they see a ton of international patients and the wait can get long later in the day.

For the glass skin part, don't overlook the simpler stuff they offer on top of the lasers, like a good hydrating facial with growth factor serums. It's not the flashiest treatment but the results stack nicely with the laser work. Also, if you're staying near Hongdae, check out Lienjang, it's less touristy and the prices run a bit lower, though their English support is thinner so you might rely on Papago. Either way, avoid the big package deals that promise five treatments in one day, your skin will thank you for spacing things out.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
