if you're near hongdae or sinchon area, there's a few korean students who post on the campus notice boards offering to bring items for a small fee like 5,000-10,000 won. i saw one at yonsei last week actually. also the hyundai collection store in coex mall has it for 15,000 won if you can pick it up yourself, way cheaper than shipping

there's a kakao chatroom for korean students in india, you could try posting there. lots of exchange students go back and forth between seoul and delhi/mumbai. also check the "korean stuff in india" facebook group, people do small favors for each other all the time. that hyundai collection item is tiny so someone could literally toss it in their carry-on

honestly you might have better luck posting in the Seoul expat facebook groups or the "Seoul Community" page on craigslist, i see people offering to bring stuff back and forth all the time. the Hyundai Collection store near Gangnam station has that item in stock if you wanted to double check the price in person, but yeah the shipping from their site is brutal. also check if any of the Korean uni student groups on campus are doing a trip home soon, they're usually chill about carrying small stuff for a fee

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
