This is surely criminal behavior, how to pass this content to the police so he could get arrested?!

Is there anyway how this footage can be passed off to the police? This is extremely disgusting behavior that surely should deport him, no?! Is there anyway how this footage can be passed off to the police? This is extremely disgusting behavior that surely should deport him, no?!

reporting the incident to the police is just the first step, ngl it's also a good idea to preserve any physical evidence, like clothing or other items that may have been involved, and get them appraised by a professional, there's a lab near daehak-ro that offers forensic analysis services, they charge around 30,000 won per test, and they can provide a report that can be used as evidence, also some hospitals in the area, like yonsei university hospital, have a victim support center that can provide medical assistance and counseling, they're open 24 hours and have staff who can speak english, the cost of medical services can vary but it's usually around 10,000 to 50,000 won per visit, depending on the treatment needed

Police stations in Korea often have a specific officer in charge of handling cases involving international residents, so it's a good idea to ask for the officer in charge of "oegukin sahyeong" when visiting the station. The officer will likely have experience dealing with similar cases and can provide more tailored guidance. Near the police station on Jongno, there is also a small office that provides free translation services for non-Korean speakers, it's called the "Jongno Translation Volunteer Center" and they are open from 10 am to 5 pm, they can help with translating documents or providing interpretation services during the police interview, which can be helpful if the footage or other evidence needs to be explained in detail.

tbh it's prob a good idea to document everything, including any messages or emails related to the incident, and make a timeline of what happened, this can be helpful when making a statement to the police, also the cost of getting a professional translation of the footage or any other evidence can be around 20,000 to 50,000 won, depending on the length and complexity, some translation services near Hongdae Station offer discounts for students or long-term residents, fwiw it's worth looking into.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
