Hi, I am a 24 year old Danish exchange student and lifelong golf player. There is a DP world tour event in Incheon next week called the Genesis Open. Some Big names Will be playing.

I am looking for someone to go with, preferably another golfer or golf-fan or just someone who is interested! It costs around 40.000 won. I prefer going on the final day, sunday 27th!

If you are interested, text me here or DM me your insta and lets figure it out!

Sunday at Jack Nicklaus is the right call, the back nine usually decides it and the crowd around 17 gets loud. One thing nobody mentioned: there's a shuttle from Songdo Central Park but it fills up early, so aim for the first one around 8am or you'll be waiting. Also Incheon can be genuinely cold that late in October with the wind off the water, so bring a layer even if Seoul feels mild when you leave.

if ur a golfer u can usually get a free grounds pass for the week by volunteering as a marshal, they always need ppl for the back nine on sunday. sign up on the dp world tour volunteer portal, it fills up fast tho. downside is u work a 5hr shift so u only catch part of the round but u get meals & a jacket out of it

40,000 won is about right for the weekend but check if they do a student rate, i think incheon cc events sometimes knock a bit off with a valid id. getting there is the annoying part, take the suin-bundang line to songdo then a shuttle from central park, taxis from seoul will set u back like 60k each way. sunday final day is the move tho, leaderboard pressure on the back nine there is worth it

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
