You can actually buy KBO playoff tickets without a Korean number if you use the Interpark global site instead of the Korean one. Switch the language to English at the top right and it should let you register with just a passport number. The LG vs Samsung series at Jamsil will sell out fast, so be on the site right when tickets drop at 2pm.

also check if any of the ticketing apps like ticketlink have an english option, some games let u buy with just a passport at the stadium box office day of but playoffs are risky for that. jamsil has a foreigner ticket booth near gate 3 but it's not always open, i'd call the kbo help line at 02-2240-8800 to confirm before heading out. if u get stuck, try asking at a travel agency in myeongdong, they sometimes help with sports tickets for a small fee

honestly the interpark global site is your best bet like they said but if that gives u trouble you can also try going to a convenience store like gs25 or cu the day of. they have kiosks where u can buy tickets but u need a korean card or cash and the playoff games usually sell out before general sale so id get there early. if u have a friend with a local number just ask them to grab it on the korean site, way less stress

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 15 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
