I am a hobbyist photographer and I am looking for models to take free photos for personal use only for both ends.

I started portraits last Jan, and have been practicing since then.

So I wonder if anyone would be interested in taking free TFP shoots.

If you are, please check out instagram.com/alpacatakesports and message me on ig.

*female models preferred.

The TFP scene in Seoul is pretty active on Instagram, so you should find people willing to shoot. Since you mentioned female models preferred, you might want to check out some of the Hongdae cafe studios that rent space by the hour, places like Studio Alice are around 20,000 won for a slot and give you consistent indoor lighting. Your portfolio has a solid start with those outdoor shots, adding some controlled indoor work could help you build variety.

If you're looking for variety in backgrounds, the area around Seonyudo Park has some interesting industrial textures and river views that work well for portraits. I've shot there a few times on weekday mornings and it's usually quiet. Your feed shows you've got a good eye for natural light, so the late afternoon golden hour there would probably give you some nice results.

There are a few TFP-friendly spots around Hongdae and near the Han River that work well for portrait practice. I've seen people shoot at the Yeouido park trails when the cherry blossoms are out, but for something less crowded try the back alleys near Mangwon Market. Your portrait work from January looks like it's coming along, the lighting in your recent shots is cleaner than the earlier stuff.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
