Any store that sells Dickies?

I really want to buy Dickies pants but dont know where to buy them. I live in Hongdae so as close to it as possible would be nice but understand I might need to travel further. try the ABC mart inside the Lotte outlet at Seoul Station, it's one stop from hongdae on the gyeongui line and they usually have a bigger workwear section than the hongdae branch. also check the online marketplaces like musinsa or ably, they restock dickies 874s pretty often and shipping is fast, like next day if u order before noon. if ur ok with secondhand, the flea market at hwanghak-dong on weekends has piles of dickies for like 15k won, just gotta dig through em.

honestly just hit up ABC-MART in hongdae, they carry dickies sometimes but more like the basic 874s and shorts. if u want the full lineup, the LMC store in seongsu has a collab with dickies rn, but that's a whole trip. also try the nike x dickies stuff at the flagship in myeongdong if u're into that vibe. check the vintage shops around hongdae station exit 9 too, they get secondhand dickies for like 20k won sometimes, way cheaper than retail.

there's a musinsa store in hongdae near the main street, they stock dickies sometimes but it's hit or miss. if u want a proper selection, head to the flagship at seongsu, it's a bit of a trek but worth it. also check the underground shops at express bus terminal, they have a bunch of workwear brands for cheaper

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
