Candy in bulk?

Looking for a store where I can buy about 10kilos of candy, ideally pre wrapped things. Anyone know a spot? Looking for a store where I can buy about 10kilos of candy, ideally pre wrapped things. Anyone know a spot?

honestly just hit up the markets in Jung-gu, near 을지로 there's a bunch of wholesale candy shops that sell individual wrapped stuff by the kilo. I've seen rows of those little fruit chews and choco balls for like 8,000 won a kilo. way cheaper than grocery stores and they'll prob give u a box if you're buying 10 kilos

yeah there's a spot in gwangjang market too, second floor near the old bookstore section. they sell those little wrapped toffees and fruit drops by the kilo, i think it was like 12,000 won per kg last time. not as cheap as the 을지로 places but the selection is better if you want stuff like coffee candies or honey chews. they also have those little lollipops that come in a big bag if that counts as pre wrapped

if you're near namdaemun market there's a few spots in the underground arcade that sell bulk wrapped candy for events and stuff. i grabbed a box of like 5kg of mixed hard candies for 15k won last year, all individually wrapped. they also have those little caramel chews and mint drops if that's your thing. just walk toward the toy section and you'll see the bins

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
