Does anyone have a good recommendation for eye brow tattoo for men?

i've been going to brow story in gangnam near yeoksam station for years, they're really good with guys who just want their natural shape cleaned up without making it too dark or thick. runs about 90k won and they do a patch test first which i appreciate since tattoos can go wrong fast lol

I'd head to Jongno instead of Hongdae for this. There's a place called Tattoo Sinsa near Anguk Station that does really clean brow work for men, they keep the strokes fine and spaced out so it looks like actual hair. A lot of guys go to them because they don't push the trendy feathered look that seems to be everywhere. It's about 100k won and they speak enough English to get through the consultation.

honestly most places in hongdae will do men well but i'd skip the main street tourist traps. check out salon de ggang in the alleys near hongik univ station exit 3, they specialize in natural shapes not that sharp instagram look. they charge around 80k won for brows and the artist there actually listens when you say you want it subtle

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
