honestly just sit at the counter at any place in myeongdong and look helpless enough, the ajummas will take pity on you. had this happen at a spot near exit 6 of myeongdong station, forget the name but it had a red sign with a pig on it. they just grabbed the tongs out of my hand and went to town, didn't even ask
for a more structured option try Hanilkwan on the main street behind Lotte Young Plaza. it's a chain but the older ladies working there are super maternal, they'll rotate your meat and cut it with scissors and everything. prob around 30,000 won for a good mix set, and you literally just sit there and eat
Yeah just hit up Gogitjip in Myeongdong, their staff usually cook everything for you because they want it done right. It's a beef place so pricier than pork, but you won't have to touch a single piece of meat.
tbh most korean bbq places here will cook for you if you ask, especially if you're solo. just tell them "구워주세요" (guwo juseyo) and they'll handle it. myeongdong is touristy so a lot of staff speak basic english anyway.
for a solid spot that's not too expensive try Wangbijib in myeongdong, they have a grill set up right at your table and the ajummas will literally take over if you look confused. it's like 25,000 won for a pork belly set and they do all the work. just don't ask for well done, they'll judge u silently.

yeah the guide covers it well but one thing i'd mention is that if you're traveling with a group of 3 or 4, a regular taxi from the airport to central seoul can actually be cheaper per person than the express train and way more convenient. split 60k won four ways and it's only 15k each, plus no hauling luggage through the station. just make sure they use the meter or you'll get ripped off
