hi guys does SNKRS shipping to Korea? snkrs 앱에서 구매하면 한국까지 배달해 주나요?

help! help!

yeah snkrs definitely ships to korea, i've gotten a few pairs through the app. just make sure your address is in korean for the courier, customs can be a pain if it's in english. also expect like 20-30k won in duties depending on the shoe price

SNKRS does ship here, but you might want to check if the specific release is on the Nike Korea app too. Sometimes the local app gets the same drops with lower shipping fees and faster delivery, plus you can avoid the DHL customs hassle. The SNKRS app usually takes about a week to arrive in Hongdae area, while the Korean app gets it to you in two days.

They do, but be prepared for the customs process. DHL handles most of the SNKRS deliveries here and they'll text you when it arrives at customs to submit your ID and clearance info. Takes about 3-5 business days after the drop to show up at your door in central Seoul, a bit longer if you're outside the city.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
