Any Dermatology recommendation? Is a health problem not cosmetic

A… Hi guys I'm in Seoul right now and I really need to find a dermatologist because of a skin problem condition I have and I have to do some tests. Can someone please recommend me a dermatologist here? All the ones I found the clinics don't speak English or something please I'm desperate! If it's not expensive it would be very helpful because I also will have to buy some medicine for sure. Thank u so much 🥺

You should try the International Health Center at Seoul National University Hospital. They have an entire team that handles foreign patients and can set you up with a dermatologist who speaks English. The consultation fee is around 100,000 to 150,000 won which is standard for a university hospital, and the pharmacy right outside the main gate will fill your prescription in maybe 15 minutes. I'd call ahead to 02-2072-0505 to make sure they have someone available who can handle your specific tests.

try the dermatology clinic at severance hospital in sinchon. they have an international clinic on the first floor that can help with translation and the dermatology department is one of the best in korea. consultation is about 120,000-150,000 won and they do biopsies and allergy tests on site if needed. the pharmacy in the basement takes about 10 minutes for standard scripts. just bring your passport and any previous medical records if you have them

yeah the university hospitals are good options but if you want something smaller and cheaper, Asan Medical Center in Songpa has a good dermatology department too. Their international clinic is like 80k won for a consult and the doctors there speak english pretty well. just call 02-3010-5001 first to book or they might make you wait forever

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
