By style analysis, I mean by hairstyles, types of clothing, or makeup style that will suit you. I'm not looking for color analysis recommendations. Thank you!

fwiw there's a place in samcheongdong called form studio that does a different approach - they film you walking and sitting for 10 minutes then analyze your movement patterns to recommend fabrics and cuts that work with how you actually move. the owner is a former costume designer for kdramas so she's good at figuring out what reads well on camera if that matters to you. her english is solid, she did part of her training in paris. 110k for the movement analysis plus a follow up kakao chat where you can ask questions about specific pieces you already own.

the studio is in a hanok building near the samcheong tunnel, easy to miss because the sign is just a small brass plate. worth booking ahead since she only does 2 sessions a day to keep the analysis thorough

you might want to check out style archive in mangwon. they do a whole thing where they analyze your facial features and body proportions to recommend specific haircut shapes and clothing lines, not just generic advice. the owner is super detail oriented and speaks decent english from working in LA for a few years. it's 130k for the session and she'll draw right on photos of you to show where layers should hit and what waistlines work best for your proportions. they're on the second floor of a building near mangwon station exit 2, above a little bookstore that sells art zines

there's a spot in itaewon called muse studio that does the full head-to-toe thing - hair shape, clothing lines, makeup placement, all based on your bone structure. the stylist is korean but spent years in new york so her english is natural. sessions run about 130k and she'll draw little diagrams showing where your hair should fall and what necklines work for your shoulders. tucked behind the hamilton hotel, look for the pink door with the gold handle

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
