I arrive at 11 PM and have a train to Busan at 5 AM. Where Can I stay? Any suggestions?

May I ask for your guys help? I am looking for suggestions for overnight spas, cafe, etc. for me and my family (all adults) can stay for the night? May I ask for your guys help? I am looking for suggestions for overnight spas, cafe, etc. for me and my family (all adults) can stay for the night?

The waiting room at Seoul Station actually has a "Darakhyu" lounge on the second floor near the main ticketing area. It's a pay-per-hour rest area with recliners and individual pods, costs about 10,000 won for the first hour and less after that. They have showers too, which is nice before a long train ride. Just be aware the lights stay on dimly all night and there's occasional announcements, so bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper.

another option is dragon hill spa near yongsan station, it's a 10min taxi from seoul station and they have a proper sleep room with those heated floors. the bath area is decent too if u want a quick soak before the train. just keep in mind their overnight fee is usually around 20k won per person but u pay extra if u leave after 6am

honestly with that short window i'd just crash at the seoul station waiting room. it's clean enough and has those massage chairs if u wanna splurge on a 30min session. way less hassle than dragging your family to a sauna then back for the 5am train

if u need actual sleep the lotte hotel across from the station has day rooms by the hour. not cheap but the beds are decent and u can shower properly before the busan trip. prob around 50k won for a few hours

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
