imo craigslist is basically useless for anything under a year in seoul, the legit landlords just use dabang or zigbang for that stuff. for sinchon short term you might wanna check the facebook group "seoul housing" or "yonsei exchange housing" tons of students subletting their rooms for a semester while they're abroad. i sublet a room near ewhas for 3 months once, paid 350k a month and just met the girl at starbucks to swap keys. just make sure you do a proper contract even if it's informal, get their id and deposit receipt
yeah craigslist in seoul is kinda sketchy for short stays ngl. i've had friends get burned on deposits from those listings - they show you a nice place, take the money, then ghost you before move-in. for sinchon specifically, there's a bunch of goshiwons near the yonsei campus that do month-to-month for like 300-500k, you can just walk in and ask. also check the bulletin boards at sinchon station or near the main gate of yonsei, students post sublets there all the time for way less than airbnb
honestly craigslist in seoul is a mixed bag at best. most of those listings are either scams or agents fishing for deposits, especially for short term stays. you're better off checking out gosiwons or hasukjibs in sinchon area, they do month-to-month and are way cheaper than airbnb. i've seen places near yonsei ro for like 400-500k won a month with all utilities included. just walk around the back alleys behind sinchon station exit 4, there's signs everywhere in korean for gosiwon. they're small but fine for a few months

Also, for the limousine bus, the 6015 to Myeongdong is great but traffic on the way in can turn that 60-minute ride into 90 minutes easily, especially on Friday afternoons.
yeah the guide covers it well but one thing i'd mention is that if you're traveling with a group of 3 or 4, a regular taxi from the airport to central seoul can actually be cheaper per person than the express train and way more convenient. split 60k won four ways and it's only 15k each, plus no hauling luggage through the station. just make sure they use the meter or you'll get ripped off
