Music Bank, or any other Kpop Show?

Is there still the possibility to apply to watch these music shows live ? Or how does it work ? Is there still the possibility to apply to watch these music shows live ? Or how does it work ?

there's also a third party option if you don't want to deal with the official fanclub stuff. some travel agencies in myeongdong sell "music show tour packages" where they handle the ticket and queue for you, but you're paying like 80,000 won for it and the groups are random. also keep in mind the shows film on different days so check the schedule first, Music Bank is friday, Inkigayo is sunday, M Countdown is thursday. if you just want the experience without the stress, the smtown coex artium has a little studio setup where you can watch a fake recording for free, which is kinda fun tbh

honestly if you're not set on seeing a specific group, The Show at SBS is a bit easier to get into than Music Bank. they have a foreigner ticket system through their website that opens like a week before, and it's first come first served. still gotta show up early tho, like 4-5am early, and you're standing the whole time. M Countdown is another option but their application process is a nightmare even for locals

Music Bank still does recordings but it's a bit of a process. You need the fanclub membership for whatever group you want to see, then apply through their official fan cafe or site usually a week before. Foreigners can sometimes get tickets through KBS's global site but it's really limited and competitive. Honestly unless you're a diehard fan of a specific group performing that week, it's not worth the hassle - the queuing starts at like 6am and you might not even get in

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
