the kimironko market tip is solid but heads up, go early like before 8am if u want the fresh brochettes being grilled right there, they run out fast. also, heaven is nice but overpriced for what it is imo, i'd swap it for repub lounge in kimihurura if u want a similar vibe with better drinks and the same 10-15k range. for coffee, question coffee is great but their kacyiru branch is way less crowded than the kg 7 ave one, same beans and pastries but u can actually sit. one thing the guide missed is the brochette stand outside the stade amahoro on game days, best sambaza i've had and like 800 rwf a plate, just follow the crowd
solid post, covers the basics well. one thing i'd add is the lunch buffet at karma restaurant in kacyiru, it's like 7k rwf for a huge spread of rwandan dishes and it's mostly locals eating there, not tourists. also if u want real street cred, look for the lady selling brochettes on a charcoal grill outside the total gas station on kg 14 ave around 6pm, her seasoning is different from anywhere else and she's been there for years. for dessert, inzora is fine but the chocolate cake at brioche in kimihurura is better and only 3k rwf, plus they have good coffee too
oh man the kimironko tip is real but honestly the real move is finding the little mama selling brochettes on kg 2 ave near the bus stop in nyamirambo around noon, she's got this peanut sauce that's insane and it's like 1500 rwf for a whole plate, been eating there for years. also the guide missed that repub lounge in kimihurura does a sunday lunch buffet for 12k that's way better than heaven's dinner menu for the price, plus u can watch football on the big screen. the coffee note is good

this is a solid itinerary, you clearly did your homework. one thing i'd add is that the kimironko market can be overwhelming if you go midday, the vendors are super pushy about prices. try going right when it opens around 8am, it's way more chill and you can haggle better without the heat and crowd. also, for day 2, skip the moto taxi and just walk from nyamirambo to kandi house if you have the energy, it's like 20 minutes and you'll see the street life properly. the brochettes at chez lando are legit some of the best in the city, i still think about them lol
good plan, covers the main spots without trying to do too much. if you're at the genocide memorial, give yourself the full 3 hours, it's heavy but worth it and rushing through feels wrong. for day 2 dinner, i'd actually suggest carmel restaurant on kn 3 ave over poivre noir if you want something more casual and local, their grilled tilapia and ibitoki (plantains) are fantastic and it's about half the price, like 7,000-10,000 rwf for a full meal. also, if you're up early on day 3, grab a coffee and a sambaza pastry from question coffee on kg 9 ave before heading to the convention center, their stuff is better than anything at the hut buffet imo
honestly this is a really well thought out plan, you've got the major spots covered. one thing i'd tweak is swapping the kigali heights mall for the ikaze showroom on kg 14 ave, it's smaller but the quality of crafts is way better and the prices are more fixed so u dont have to haggle as hard. also for day 3, if you're doing the mount kigali hike, go around 4pm instead of lunch, the light is gorgeous and it's cooler, plus you can catch the sunset from the top which is prettier than the midday view in my opinion. the buffet at the hut is solid but their sambaza is way better than what you'll get at repub lounge tbh
