Gejiu

Giang Nam Quán bar in Gejiu, worth a visit in 2026?

yeah beer & snacks sounds right from what i heard, not really a cocktail spot. 20 to 40 a round tracks for smaller places around there, though i wouldnt bank on 2026 numbers holding tbh

good writeup. one thing missing: the chalabi o bastani spots near the bazaar are worth a stop, and the knife shops mostly close around 1pm for lunch so go before noon

kataleh khor is 3 hours from the city, not a quick detour

Cairo

Best doctor in Cairo near Al Nasr Rd for a skin problem?

al nasr rd is long so it depends which end. i'd look around heliopolis hospital or the clinics off abbas el akkad, more choice there. consultation runs 300 to 600 egp roughly, more for the big names.
