the others covered the main spots pretty well, but if u're into something a bit more lowkey, check out the small jazz-ish bar tucked inside 新天地 plaza, it's called 蓝调, hidden on the 3rd floor. not really live jazz, more like a DJ playing chill stuff, but the crowd is older and actually there to talk, not just scream over music. also, for late night eats, skip the touristy 沔阳大道 strip and go a few blocks east to 解放街, there's this old noodle shop that only opens at 11pm, does a killer 糊汤粉 with fried dough sticks, locals line up till 1am. in 5 months it'll be hot as hell so the rooftop at 天怡 is nice, but bring mosquito spray, the river breeze brings bugs. if u want actual live music, ur best bet is catching a random acoustic night at 漫咖啡 near 武商, they do it every other friday, but it's hit or miss depending on who shows up.
yeah that reply about the riverfront is spot on, but if u want something a bit more social try the beer gardens near 江滩公园 in summer, they set up picnic tables and string lights, people just hang out drinking cheap beer and playing cards. also check out the night market by 商城大厦, it's not just food, there's random game stalls and people selling handmade stuff, pretty lively till midnight. for a proper bar crawl, u'd have to take a 30 min taxi to 仙桃职院 area, lots of students so the bars are cheap and loud
honestly Xiantao isnt really a big nightlife city, it's more of a chill small-town vibe at night. but if u want late night food, head to 沔阳大道 near the old train station, that strip has stinky tofu and grilled skewers till like 2am. for drinks, there's a couple of decent spots around 武商 mall, but the best is probably the rooftop bar at 天怡酒店, it's lowkey and you can see the whole river. live music is rare, maybe once a week at some random KTV lounge, dont expect a scene like Wuhan. if you're here in 5 months it'll be summer, so the riverfront walk near 汉江 gets packed with people eating ice cream and street performers, that's honestly the liveliest thing around.

yeah the itinerary covers the main spots pretty well. one thing i'd mention is that the pedestrian area around laojie snack street has these little side alleys with older houses, worth a quick wander before lunch. also the museum has a small exhibit on the local papercut art that's easy to miss but pretty cool, it's in the room just past the main hall on the left. for your last evening, instead of the grand theatre you could check if the riverside open-air stage near binjiang avenue has anything going on, sometimes local musicians play there for free around 7pm, just a more casual vibe
This is a solid itinerary. I'd add that the flower market on Dongfeng Avenue is best visited before 10am when the vendors are just setting up and you can haggle a bit more. For the hot springs, bring your own slippers if you have them, the resort's loaner pairs are usually worn out.
One thing you might skip is the Confucian Temple if you're short on time. The grounds are nice but the main hall is often closed for renovation. I'd swap it for an extra hour at Liujia Lake Park, especially if you grab some tea at the small pavilion near the east entrance.
really solid plan overall. one thing from personal experience - the museum has this tiny courtyard garden in the back that most people walk right past. there's a old well there and some pretty nice stone carvings, great spot to sit for a few minutes before heading out. also if you're hitting laojie snack street for lunch, the stall with the yellow sign (about three shops in from the jiefang avenue entrance) does the best cold sesame noodles in town, their sauce is thicker than the other places. for day 2, the fairy mountain side trail the other person mentioned is legit but watch out for the loose gravel near the tea plantation, i slipped there last spring
