honestly the guide is pretty thorough, one thing i'd mention is that the Tianyi Pavilion library has a hidden garden in the back most tourists miss. there's a little rockery and pond area that's perfect for escaping the crowds, just walk past the main hall and through the archway on the left
for getting around, the metro is fine but the public bikes (Ningbo Public Bicycle) are clutch for short hops. you need the app but it's like 1 RMB per hour and there's stations everywhere around the city center, way easier than dealing with didi for a 10 minute walk

nice write-up, really solid list. one thing i'd add is that the ningbo embroidery research institute also does custom pieces if you bring them a photo or design, i had them make a small wall hanging with a lotus for my mom last year and it turned out gorgeous, took about two weeks and cost 300 RMB. also if you're around on a sunday morning, the antique market near the moon lake park has some older embroidery pieces that people sell from their own collections, prices are negotiable and you can find some real unique stuff for like 50-100 RMB. just make sure to check for damage since they're not always stored well
oh nice list, you covered most of the classics. one thing i'd add is the dried bamboo shoots from the Siming mountain area, they sell them at the farmer's market near the Drum Tower on weekends. they're way cheaper than the tourist shops and the old ladies there will let you taste before buying, usually like 20-30 kuai for a big bag. tbh the tangyuan from the food store is fine but if you can find the little stall on Yongshou Street near the old temple they make them fresh and they're way softer, just eat them there since they don't travel great. also those bone wooden combs at Lao Waitan, the ones with the wave pattern are the real deal, i got one three years ago and it still hasn't split on me.
i've been buying ningbai from the brewery store on yongfeng road for years, and they also sell a aged version that's been stored for five years or so, it's about 150 RMB a bottle and way smoother than the regular stuff. if you're planning to cook with it, the regular 80 RMB bottle is fine for braising pork belly or steaming crab, but the aged one is better for drinking warm on a cold evening. also, the gold and silver crafts store on jiefang south road has a small workshop in the back where you can watch them do the filigree work, they don't advertise it but if you ask they'll let you peek through the doorway.
