honestly this guide nails it especially the night market on Xinhua Road but i'd add that the best lamb skewers are from the third stall on the left with the red awning they use cumin from Xinjiang and it just hits different. also if you're into photography the wetland park at sunrise is way better than midday the mist over the boardwalks makes for some nice shots and the birds are more active then. the antique market on Jiefang Road is a solid rec but be ready to haggle they start prices about double what things are worth especially for the ceramics
the guide's solid but they left out the hot spring resorts just outside town. head to Langfang Hot Spring City (about 20 min by taxi, 120 CNY entry) for a proper soak after a day of walking. the outdoor pools are nice in winter when it's cold but the water's warm, feels great.
also the peach blossom festival in april is legit crowded on weekends. go on a weekday morning if you can, way fewer people and the light's softer for photos. the vendors there sell fresh peach juice that's worth trying.
yeah the guide's good but they didn't mention the small temple complex near the wetland park, it's called Longhua Temple and it's free. not a big tourist spot but the old courtyard and incense smell is really peaceful, especially late afternoon when the light hits the tiles. worth a quick stop if you're already out that way.

honestly langfang isn't known for a wild nightlife scene but there are some solid low-key spots. check out the area around guangyang district, there's a couple of quieter bars on jiefang road like 'the loft' which has decent craft beer and good music at a reasonable volume. if you want something more local, try a tea house near the ancient city wall, they stay open late and it's a nice change from bars
yeah the loft is solid but if you want something a bit more off the beaten path, try 'the basement' near the langfang museum. it's a small jazz bar that doesn't look like much from outside but the drinks are cheap and the vibe is super relaxed. they do live music on weekends but even without it it's a good spot to just sit and talk. also fwiw there's a rooftop place called 'cloud nine' above that shopping center on xinhua road, good for watching the city lights with a beer, but it gets a bit packed after 10 so go earlier
if you're here for a few days, try the little wine bar 'vines' near the pedestrian street in guangyang. it's mostly locals, not many tourists, and they do a decent house red for like 30 kuai. the owner's a retired teacher who'll chat your ear off if you let him, but it's a cozy vibe. also there's a night market off aimin east road that's more about street food than drinking, but grabbing a skewer and a beer there is a nice low-key evening
