man this is really well put together, the ferry timing tip is spot on. one thing i'd say is for the lushan west sea part, instead of the boat tour try the hiking trail that starts from the east gate, it's free and takes you up to a ridge where you can see the whole reservoir and the mountain behind it, takes about 40 minutes and way fewer people. also the pedestrian street night market is good but the hongqi road one has a stall that does these little fried buns stuffed with pickled veggies, 3 yuan for five, perfect drunk food after a long day
this is a really thoughtful itinerary, especially the lushan morning timing. one thing i'd add is that xunyang tower at sunset is actually better than during the day, the light hits the yangtze just right and you can see the ferry lights starting to come on. they don't kick you out exactly at 5, the guard usually lets people linger if you're polite

the lushan west sea boat tour is decent but if you go on a weekday afternoon it's sometimes half empty and the captain will let you sit up front with him if you chat him up a bit, way better view than the main deck

for day 3 at poyang lake, the bird sanctuary is only really good nov-feb when the siberian cranes show up. if you go any other time, just do the boat tour from the port and skip the sanctuary fee, you'll see plenty of birds along the shore anyway. also the taxi from wucheng to lushan west sea is worth the 40 yuan, the bus schedule is unreliable and you'll waste an hour waiting in the heat
one thing missing is the little night market behind the pedestrian street on hongqi road, it's smaller than the main one but the grilled tofu there is way better and the old lady who runs it has been there forever. open til like midnight on weekends
