This is a well thought out itinerary. I've done a similar loop and the timing is pretty much spot on. One thing I'd add is that on day 1, the river promenade has a few food carts near the South Gate Bridge around 7 PM that sell grilled tofu skewers for 5 yuan each, they're a nice cheap snack after the walk. Also, for the modern district on day 2, if you're at the Galaxy Mall and want a break from shopping, there's a small rooftop garden on level 7 with a koi pond that most people miss. It's free and usually quiet, good for 15 minutes of sitting down.
yeah this is a good plan, only thing i'd flag is day 1's old town wandering - the hidden alley with the best tea house isn't marked on maps at all, it's behind the blue door at 27 wenhua lane, just past the embroidery shop. they do a jasmine pearl that's way better than anything you'll find on the main streets for like 15 yuan a pot. also for the river walk, if you go 15 minutes later than dusk the bridge lights reflect on the water way better, right around 6:45 in spring. the museum's free entry is nice but honestly the permanent collection is a bit dry, i'd skip the jade room unless you're really into it and spend more time at the temporary exhibits which change monthly
nice guide, covers the main spots well. one thing nobody's mentioned is that the jingling tower observatory on day 2 has a free telescope setup on the north side if you ask the attendant - most people just take phone photos but the view of the old town roofs from there is unreal around 11am when the light hits right. also for day 3, the bamboo lake trail has a fork about 1km in that's easy to miss, the left path leads to a smaller pavilion with almost no tourists and a better view of the mist than the main lookout point. the bus 101 tip from the other reply is true, standing for 30 minutes with hiking gear is annoying so get there early

the bike thing is legit, the riverside path along the qinhuai canal is way prettier than the main roads. also if you're at the night market, skip the crawfish at the first stall you see and walk to the third row where old lady zhang sells them, she's been there 20 years and her sauce is way better. and for the antique market, go early like 7am if you want the good stuff before the dealers pick it clean
one thing the guide doesnt mention is the old city wall at sunset, the light hits the brickwork and it glows orange for about 20 minutes around 5:30 in summer. i usually bring a beer and just sit on the wall near the east watchtower, its free and the view over the rooftops is better than any paid lookout spot
also the art district tip about open studios is real but check their wechat page first, sometimes they cancel last minute if theres a private event. i showed up once and it was closed for some wedding photoshoot which was a bummer
if you're doing the old city wall walk, start at the east gate instead of the south one. it's less crowded and there's a little shrine tucked into the corner of the wall near the old cannon platform that most people miss. also the contemporary art hub is worth it on a saturday afternoon when they do the open studio thing, you can actually watch the artists working instead of just seeing finished pieces on the wall
