also the guide mentions the green tea but there's a small tea house on east street near the old temple that does a cold brew version in summer, way smoother than the hot stuff and they let you sit in their courtyard for free as long as you buy a cup

one thing they missed is the grilled fish skewers near the east gate market around 9 PM, this old guy sets up with a charcoal grill and the fish is caught fresh that morning from the river. costs like 8 yuan per skewer and he puts this tangy tamarind sauce on it that i haven't found anywhere else

The pottery village is a gem and most visitors skip it, so that's a smart addition to your plan.
