Hezhou History: 7 Milestones to Explore in 2026

Good writeup, but the one thing I'd push back on is the visitor center on Minzhu Road. Those guides are fine for the Old Town loop, but if you actually want the river history, the boatmen down at the...

Sichuan Fire?

Which place was it? If you mean Yuxin on Dongsi, that gruffness is basically institutional, the auntie there has been slinging mapo tofu since the 90s and has zero interest in small talk. But if it wa...

Beijing Today Art Museum: Weirdest Exhibit?

The sock room gets the attention but the third floor balcony off the main atrium is where the building actually earns its ticket price. There's a Zhu Jinshi canvas up there, thick oil applied with a t...

How can I purchase tickets for a concert during my visit?

Anyone coming to the UK soon?

A bit of an odd request but I used to use these cheap deodorants from 7 while I lived there and I've never found anything that worked before or since like they do. Could anyone bring a few back with...
