Shaoxing

Photo spots in Shaoxing for a trip in 4 months?

I'm heading to Shaoxing in about 4 months and want to plan my shooting list around the old canals, Lu Xun's hometown area, and maybe a water town at sunrise. I'd rather skip the obvious crowded spots...

Are others experiencing frequent bus service disruptions?

The one in three figure sounds about right for certain corridors, especially anything running through Mitte during peak hours. I've had decent luck checking the BVG app's live map before heading out,...

First Time in Shenyang: Complete Guide 2026

This is a solid guide, especially the bit about Didi being essential. I'd add that the metro card you can get at any station kiosk is worth the 20 yuan deposit, it saves you from fumbling for coins ev...

Best Food in Sanming (2026)

**🍜 Must-Try Local Dishes** Sanming's cuisine is a blend of Fujian and Hakka flavors, with Sha County's spicy tofu and Ninghua's steamed pork belly being iconic. Don't miss the bamboo rice, a fragran...

Ritan Park Sunrise?

I went to Ritan Park at sunrise last week, hoping to catch the famed tai chi session. Turns out, it was less "flowing movements" and more "a hundred slightly grumpy old people doing very serious stret...
