Lost on Ln 162

So, I'm navigating this maze of tiny alleyways, Ln 162, they call it, near Da'an District in Taipei. It's charming, chaotic, and utterly disorienting all at once. I've spent the last hour getting glor...

Finding peace in the chaos?

The colony bakery near the post office opens at 5am and it's dead quiet then, just the oven going.

Ujjain

Where to stay in Ujjain for a first visit?

Ram Ghat makes sense if you want the whole trip to feel walkable, but honestly the area right around Mahakal Lok has gotten a lot better for families lately. Plenty of newer guesthouses popped up ther...

Davangere

3 Days in Davangere: Itinerary 2026

Good writeup overall. One thing I'd add is that the guide's Day 1 afternoon slot at Gandhi Bazaar is where you'll find the real Davangere, but it's worth timing it right. The mandakki stalls and the b...

Bikaner

Best Food in Bikaner (2026)

Solid rundown, covers the essentials well. One thing I'd flag that nobody mentioned: the food scene here basically shuts down between 3 and 5 pm, most kitchens close after lunch service and don't fire...

Looking for road biking routes in the Tokyo and Kanagawa area

I've recently moved to the area and purchased a road bike. I'm interested in finding scenic and enjoyable bike trails, particularly routes that might lead toward Haneda or other destinations. I'm open...

Sion East Mysteries?

Sion's history goes back further than most people realise, the name likely comes from 'Sion' or 'Shiv', and there's a Portuguese-era church, Our Lady of Health, up on a hillock near the station that m...

One Thread of Sky's Secret?

So, I'm finally going to One Thread of Sky in @Taipei next week! I've heard it's breathtaking, but all the pictures online just show the bridge itself. What's the *vibe* like down below? Is there cool...
