Aden

3 Days in Aden: Itinerary 2026

Good write up, the structure is genuinely useful for someone landing in Aden cold. One thing I'd flag is the Jebel Shamsan timing: go before 7am if you can, because by 9 the haze rolls in off the bay...

Huangshicheng's Secrets?

The carvings you're describing sound like they might be from the Ming-era stone tablets that were moved around during the Qianlong period, when the archive got a major renovation. A lot of what looks...

3 Days in Jaboatao: Itinerary 2026

I'm considering renting a place there, and I am worried about the noise because I'm sensitive. Are there many drunk people yelling at night and early morning? Is there too much traffic? Could...

Tokyo

Is there a place I can go to really buckle down and focus on work/studying?

Preferably near Nakano/Shinjuku/Shibuya In my country I usually do that at the library but in Tokyo I can't seem to find anything one that's really suited for that. They don't really have any desks a...
